WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This course is aimed at members of upper management who are considering to get their organization certified to AS9100. This certification scheme applies to organizations of all sizes in the Aviation, Space and Defense sector. Current ISO 9001 certification is helpful but not required.
COURSE CONTENT
In this one-and-a-half-day workshop we learn the principles of the standard, the requirements it imposes, the real benefits to be realized by implementing it and the risks of not implementing each clause.
By the end of the first day, participants have a clear, high-level, understanding of the requirements and benefits of AS9100. Managers are equipped to compare their existing quality management system to the requirements, and they know what to expect from process owners to ensure conformity to the Standard.
We cap the course with a realistic, step-by-step overview of the path to certification, including how to interact with the certification body along the process. We help participants make realistic estimates about the level of effort necessary to achieve certification, including timeline, resources and cost.
